Introduction

You want to change your life. You want to make a difference, be the best version of yourself, and do what really matters. You want it all, but you just aren’t sure how to get there. You’re not alone! I’ve been there too. In fact, I’m still growing and changing every day—and so are you! But if you’re like me (and let’s be honest—you are), it can be hard to change our mindset. We have so many negative thoughts going through our minds on any given day: “I’m not smart enough,” “I’m not talented enough,” “I don’t deserve this.”

You can’t change your life until you change the way you think.

This is the most important lesson I learned from Robert Allen. Change is constant, and it’s up to us if we want to be prepared for it or not. If we’re always stuck in our ways, then when something happens that requires us to adapt, we’ll have a hard time doing so because our subconscious mind has already made up its mind about how things should be done (and by whom).

So how do you change your mindset? Here are three steps: 1) Look at what happened in your past; 2) Think about how this affected the way you see yourself; 3) Imagine what effect these beliefs have on your present situation.If there’s one thing I’ve learned from psych-k therapy and belief work(/b), it’s that changing one belief will trigger an avalanche of other changes in your life.

Subconscious mind

The subconscious mind is your brain’s autopilot. It’s the automatic portion of your brain that keeps you breathing, heart beating, and blood flowing when you’re not thinking consciously about it. The subconscious mind also records every experience you’ve ever had—both good and bad.

For example: Let’s say someone accidentally bumps into you on the street; this triggers a negative reaction in your body because of past experiences where people have intentionally hurt or embarrassed you (maybe even years ago). Your subconscious mind reacts immediately to protect itself from this threat by making sure that its survival mode kicks into gear by increasing heart rate and blood pressure as well as releasing adrenaline into the system so that it can defend itself against any physical harm.

This response happens almost instantly before conscious thought has time to take over—and this is just one example of how powerful our subconscious minds are! We rely mostly on our subconscious minds for things like driving directions or remembering how to get home from work without having to think about them too much—we just know where we’re going because we’ve done these things many times before unconsciously!
